Book to table companion

Let what stirred in you become a real table.

Start small. Notice what God may be awakening, name who came to mind, and prepare one invitation you can actually send.

1. Notice

What is still burning?

Where did the book remind you that the flame is still burning?

Who came to mind as someone you should not let walk alone?

What would make the first gathering feel peaceful, honest, and possible?

2. Prepare

Keep the first table simple.

  • Open the door with a simple welcome and something to share.
  • Read one short passage of scripture slowly.
  • Let each person share one honest sentence, without pressure.
  • Pray briefly and name one faithful next step before leaving.

3. Invite

Send one honest invitation.

I thought of a few people while reading Communion Neighbors. I am wondering about gathering around a simple table soon. No pressure, but I would love to share a meal, pray simply, and make room for honest conversation.

You can invite before every detail is clear. Keep it gentle, honest, and possible.
